KBLR
Started in 2014
World Unity has a long history, dating back to 2014 when it went by its original name: KBLR. The station was built by Ryan James, and he was the only DJ. Yet a great deal of contribution came from Zoomzoom4, as he had long dreamed of a "BL" radio station -- that is, that it plays boy music round the clock. Eventually the station was expanded to include more of a variety/top 40 output.
In the late 2010s,"KBLR" which stood for "K Boy Love Radio" changed its name to reflect the new MAP website it was growing from, "World Unity", thus it became, "WURN" World Unity Radio Network
World Unity was supposecd to be a "Facebook for alternative sexualities",v but it eventually folded as a board -- yet the radio statio lives on.

Competition Came Along
Around 2016, a hot new online BL radio station arrived on the scene, and this forced changes to KBLR's approach. Ryan James decided to start a new board to go with the radio station, World Unity, a board that welcomes all alternative sexualities, especially of a MAP variety.
Changing Format
Since all of the boy music belonging to Ryan James was, he claims, stolen, and that forced him to rebuild. In this time he took the opportunity to widen the variety of the AutoDJ.
WURN Today
Today's WURN strives to bring listeners the freshest variety of exciting and up to date hits. The lone DJ on the station remains Ryan James, and he enjoys entertaining listeners every few months with a new live show.
WEIRD Radio
The Ealy Years
This radio station was almost single-handedly started by Kermie in the summer of 2015. It was immediatedly considered a rival to KBLR, though it had a much different vibe. One of the biggest differences was the many DJs as compared to only one.
WEIRD Radio
Known as WEIRD Radio the first few years, this name was given by Bob, a member of the Enchanted Island BL board which he belonged to (and Kermie owned). The name was an acronym: W.E.I.R.D. which stood for "W Enchanted Island Radio Digital", and starting out the gate it had or 7 DJs playing live shows. All BL DJs of course, and allowed to play anything they wanted. Kermie strongly showed support to all of the DJs on his station, listening to every show, even if he was the only one.
WIRED-PM Radio
Winds of Change
Tragedy struck when Kermie passed away suddenly in October 2016. After a respectable period of mourning among the Enchanted Island members and staff, it was decided that the board and the radio station should carry on, continuing the progress that Kermie had worked so hard to establish.
Under Atack
Everything was going smoothly until the early part of 2018, when Enchanted Island found itself under attack by opponents from within the BL community. Reaction by the upper staff was to close EI for good and create a successor board from scratch.
A Fresh Re-Start
Shortly after the closure of the BL forum Enchanted Island and its companion BL radio station, WEIRD Radio, it was announced that a new online forum was under construction and a new BL radio station along with it.
New Name, New Forum, New Radio Station
Rising from the ashes of Enchanted Island was the new BL board, named "Paradise Mountain" (by its webmaster, Boysrule) and the new radio station with a new name to reflect the changes: WIRED-PM Radio. These projects both sought to improve upon their predecessors, and boy did they ever!
